JULIO PARADES

Julio is a 1963 Graduate of the prestigious Escuela de Equitacion y School of Cavalry and Dressage, Lima, Peru. During his more than 50 years riding and training Julio has worked with all breeds of horses while training in classical Dressage and Jumping. He has studied with the legendary Ecuyer Nuno de Olivera, and is just as tenacious about kindness in the relationship he has with the horses. Growing up in Lima, he found talent in competitive fencing and was an active and well known personality internationally in that arena. He is also a very experienced sailor and an avid cyclist. Dr. ANDY DIBBERN

Dr. Andy is a 1997 Graduate of Oregon State and Washington State Colleges of Veterinary Medicine. He has a BS in animal science from OSU, and was an Ambassador for the College of Agricultural Sciences. He was a member of the OSU College Rodeo team, competing in Bareback Bronc Riding. He also has an Associates degree in Farrier Science. Dr. Andy has been licensed with the Oregon Racing Commission as a groom, plater, pony person, exercise rider, trainer, and veterinarian. His learning path has included elite martial arts training in Karate and MMA that has led to to awards in international competition. This rich learning background has contributed greatly to his conditioning, training and goal oriented teaching style. Dr. Andy owns and operates NW Equine Podiatry, an equine performance hoofcare and lameness practice. He began riding jumpers soon after Veterinary School and found his niche there, now training and riding professionally. No matter the training setting or environment, he vocally evokes an old Danish proverb of, "Care, and not fine stables, makes a great horse".
